Interview with Gina:
Which school have you decided to attend and why?
I chose Iona College because I loved the coaches, campus and the team there. When I was on the visit I could see myself playing there.
What other schools did you consider?
I also considered Davenport in Michigan
What are your goals for the 2014-2015 school season?
This basketball season I would like to go far in the playoffs and hopefully be conference champions
How long have you played in the Team Wisconsin program?
I have played in this program for one year
What was your favorite Team Wisconsin memory/experience (on or off the court) and why?
My favorite memory was meeting new girls and playing with a high caliber team
What advice do you have for younger basketball players.
Keep yourself well conditioned during your HS basketball season, AAU season and during the off-season. Put 100% of yourself into the practices because you play as well as you practice. Always push yourself to the next level!
Iona is located in New Rochelle, NY and plays in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). The Gaels were the MAAC 2013-2014 Regular Season Champions and made it to the MAAC Conference Tournament Championship game.
